Later on the evening of February 2 at Guitteau Gymnasium on the EAC campus, we staged our wildly popular double-header half-time shootout on “Neon Night” as the Monsters took on the rivals from Cochise College. Not only did eight different students get a shot at taking home some cash but so did AD Paul Demuth and Cheerlead Coach Jody Judd. We gave away some great stuff including party packs and basketballs autographed by both the EAC women’s and men’s basketball teams along with mini yellow neon basketballs with our logo that the cheerleaders threw into the crowd. VTC staffers Bob Dahlstrom, Jamie Wright and Ralph Score were on hand in neon green to celebrate with a packed house.
