As we get closer to holding our Annual Meeting for the Valley Telephone Cooperative every year, we finally get to reveal the entries and winners for our student Cover Art Contest. We're always surprised and pleased by the talent that we see from local students on all levels. Entries were judged on the basis of originality, theme, artistic ability and overall design with the theme being: "Use of the internet and/or internet safety". This year's Grand Prize winner was Dylan M. from Valley Union High School in Elfrida. Our runner up and winner for the elementary category was Layla C. of Pearce Elementary School and our People's Choice winner was Lexie S. from Valley Union High School. Our Grand Prize Winner received $100.00 and had their artwork featured on the cover of our Annual Meeting Notice and Booklet. All three winning students received brand new Amazon "fire HD8" tablets with Alexa. Congratulations to all our winners and thanks to all the talented young artists in our communities who participated. We look forward to seeing more great art next year when we do it again.
