2022 brought on new opportunities and adventures as Valley TeleCom became the newest Corporate Sponsor for Eastern Arizona College's Gila Hanks Booster club and we really started things off right as we staged one of our fantastic half-time shootout events at both the women's and men's basketball games against Arizona Central College. We picked 8 different students out of 41 who entered and gave them each a chance at winning up to $200.00. We ended up having only one winner when cheerleader Celeste S. hit a free-throw for $50.00 but we still gave a nice Valley SWAG Bag to each contestant with lots of great stuff and made a $200.00 donation to the EAC athletics program as part of the festivities. On top of the shootout, 2 lucky fans got their names drawn to win a set of 4 Valley TeleCom stadium seats and EAC cheerleaders threw 100 neon yellow mini basketballs with our logo up into the crowd during the half-time of both games. We had a really great time with the students, staff and crowd and look forward to doing more events as part of this new sponsor partnership with the college.
