On August 26, 2020, District 3 Jyme Stoner, Valley Telephone Cooperative Board of Director for District three retired from the board after 20 plus years of service. He became a board member on January 1, 1999. to fill the vacancy left in District #3. Jyme has served on the Finance, Policy, Wage and Bonus and Nominating Review Committees. Jyme has served on nine various boards throughout his career which include Board of Trustees, Pacific International Livestock Exposition, Industrial Development Committee for the State of Oregon and Budget Board of the Port Hood River. Jyme worked thirty-two years in the banking industry both wholesale and retail, in addition to ten years with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He was one of the first employees to be loaned by the FDIC to the RTC Saving and Loan Project. We sincerely thank Jyme for his service to the board and Co-operative and bid him a fond farewell and best wishes going forward.
